Line and Wash is one of the most popular watercolour techniques with both artists and the public - probably because it combines the freshness of painting with the detail of drawing. In Line and Wash, the line is the descriptive element and therefore takes priority over colour and texture. Paul demonstrates 13 different line techniques, from pen & ink, pencil and charcoal to 'turning' pastel into watercolour, plus materials, colour mixing and subject selection.
