MONTH OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY
13 x 23’

Sulawesi, Indonesia, one of the worldıs most remote and least explored regions a land of impenetrable forests and pristine reefs - is the magical setting for a series that's a unique fusion of travel, adventure and cutting edge science.
Every year young volunteer students, anthropologists, biologists and enthusiasts from all walks of life join forces with the scientists, survival experts and divers of 'Operation Wallacea' to explore, map, catalogue and help protect one of nature's final frontiers
This series follows the trials and tribulations of a cross section of these young people, many of whom have never been abroad before.
As in any group of strangers forced together in 'uncomfortable' surroundings there are tensions. So too are there moments of real joy and a sense of achievement from knowing their efforts have made a difference.
These 13 x 23' programmes follow the stories of real people living and working to 'save paradise' in one of the last unspoilt wildernesses left on earth.

"This..... series has a real sense of wonder and self-discovery that those carefully staged 'reality' shows with big budgets can only envy" - Marsha Dunstan, Daily Telegraph
