One million people a year take the train from Palma, across the plane and through the mountains to Sóller, making it the most popular ‘attraction’ in Mallorca. Many of these passengers then take the tram to the Port of Soller.
This 45 minute documentary takes us on the journey from Palma to Sóller and then on to the Port in the tram and, along the way, tells the story of how the railway was built, a story which began 100 years ago, in 1905.
Spectacular aerial footage, shots from the train, shots from the driver’s cab, and archive photographs combine to make this a 
dramatic and interesting documentary about one the of the world’s most scenic and historic railways.
